A Fragile Line

Allison is heir to the Premiere of an alternate universe—but instead of following in her father's footsteps, she joins a resistance to bring him down. Forced to work with Brandon, whose vendetta runs deep and trust runs thin, their uneasy alliance may be the only thing standing between salvation and destruction.

Seeking Representation

Allison thought the worst thing that happened was her mother vanishing. But at twenty-two, after developing the ability to transport into her alternate self, she understands what drove her mother away. Her father is the Premiere over a ruthful alternate universe. When he discovers Allison is working for the rebel organization bent on stripping him of power, he gives her a choice: to become his spy, or watch the people she loves, especially the one she’s falling for, get hurt. Forced into a double life, Allison must walk a fragile line, feeding just enough intel to avoid suspicion while desperately hiding secrets that would allow his regime to invade their home universe. Though she disagrees with his tactics, Allison starts to believe his intentions may be to prevent a greater, mutual threat. But is it the truth or just another layer of manipulation? As the line between loyalty and betrayal blurs, Allison must decide if she has the strength to stop her father and what she’s willing to sacrifice in the process.

Brandon, twenty-five, is Allison’s superior. His only mission is to destroy Allison’s father, the man responsible for his younger brother’s death. Brandon doesn’t trust Allison as she has been named heir to the very regime they’re fighting. As an empath, he feels every lie she tells. But when he uncovers her father's manipulation, Brandon must ask himself: can he trust the daughter of his enemy to finish what he started? And if Allison learns the truth of his past, will it shatter their fragile alliance and any chance they have of saving each other?
